Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport
Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport is one of the most important transportation hubs in southern China. It carries thousands of domestic and international routes every day. The airport is located north of downtown Guangzhou, and Baiyun Airport is also the main base of China Southern Airlines. From the airport to the city, you can choose subways, airport buses and taxis. The most convenient way into the city is by Metro Line 3. Taxis take about the same time as the Metro, but the price higher about 130CNY.
Guangzhou Railway Station
Guangzhou Station is the most important railway station in Guangzhou, services non-high-speed routes and located in the center of the city.
Guangzhou South Railway Station
Guangzhou South Railway Station is the high-speed railway station in Guangzhou. Visitors can take Metro Line 2 to Guangzhou South Railway Station from the city directly.
Guangzhou East Railway Station
Guangzhou East Railway Station is located in the northwest of city, subway lines 1 and 3 are directly reached.
Guangzhou Metro
Guangzhou has opened 7 metro lines in the city, APM line of pearl river new city business district and intercity subway lines in Guangzhou and Foshan. The metro utilizes a stage fare system. The ticket ranges from 2 Yuan to 14 Yuan. Currently, Lines 1 and 2 run east-west and north-south respectively across the city center, it’s more useful for tourists.
Guangzhou Taxi
At present, the taxi body in Guangzhou has red, yellow, blue, gold and green colors. Different body colors belong to different taxi companies, but the prices are the same. The starting price is 10 yuan in the city area. After 2.5 kilometers, the fee is 2.6 yuan/km. If the distance exceeds 35 kilometers, 50% of the empty driving fee is required, which is 3.9 yuan/km.Tips:The yellow taxi driver is a Guangzhou native who is very familiar with the road conditions and has a high safety factor.
