Introduction

Opened in 2009 and covering a total of 213 acres, this amusement park is home to the biggest rides in China. Located about an hour out of downtown Shanghai, the park houses seven themed parks.

Shanghai Happy Valley is one of the largest theme parks ever set up in China and has the highest technology content and most advanced amusement facilities in the most abundant ancient cultural way of life in China.

In addition to this, the amusement park boasts of sold out tickets to an audio-visual presentation at the Lake of Illusions set up by ECA2, a french organization specializing in multimedia shows and large scale events. The tower incorporates water, music, light and fire in the most poetic, architectural and technological way.

Happy ocean

This is the ultimate kids area in Happy Valley Shanghai with a huge indoor kids play area including ocean adventures, water-ships, nautical battleships, small flying fish amongst other 3 fun family sized roller coasters.

Shangri-la woods

This is the only place you will find the most nature inspired thrilling rides with a collection of immense and the most realistic artificial mountain and Himalayan inspired architecture. There is also a rapids ride winding through canyons, rockeries, culverts and a lush green rainforest under the blue moon speeding at a near 100km/h.

Shang Beach 

With a host of scenes of going to the beach centuries ago in a mix of the modern adventure represented in rides like the drop coaster, the king of coasters riding up 60 meters high and the Gyro Swing rising about 15 stories high including an energy storm ride and a 4D theatre.

Gold mine town

The right place to experience the renowned gold rush that took place in west America. Enjoy mine car rides through fascinating scenes of miners escaping from the flood at the same time taking in ecstatic views of Treasure Island and the whole theme park in general. take a panoramic view of the park.

Sunshine harbor 

A Mediterranean themed street that takes you back to the 19th century times in Europe to have magical views of the lake and catch a live a show or performances. In addition there are also more than ten projects in this area such as a flying theater, Victorian Art Street, Arthur Palace and another multipurpose theatre.

Happy times

Home to the renowned Wooden coaster called the Fire Ball that was created from wood beams and can reach speeds of about 56 miles an hour.

There is also the wave swinger, x dimension, Twin-Tower Heroes, dreamy top, double decker carousel and power surge.

Typhoon bay

This water slide will have you landing on the actual water from 85 feet up the ground in a sudden fall, stop and roll that leaves you all mixed up and dizzy with a mix of other rides such as splash over, shoot the chute, storm travel and magic hat.
