Chinese Russian Market
Located in Jianshe Street, Nangang district, the Chinese Russian Market consists of five roads in the shape of the Chinese character "井" translated as "well" as in a borehole. It is the most famous Russian market in Harbin, where a dazzling array of Russian goods are on display. There are more than 2,500 stalls, covering around 54,000 square meters. Various Chinese and Russian products are available here, including leather, daily-use items, artworks, clothes and military gear.
Central Avenue
Construction of Central Avenue began in 1896, as part of the original town built by Russians. It is now located in Daoli district of Harbin city. Walking on Central Avenue, one can feel the strong exotic atmosphere from the various styles and splendid buildings, even if you know nothing about western architecture. Along the street are shopping malls such as the Euro Plaza, Parksons, and Lane Crawford that carry international brands. There are also many old brands selling local and Russian specialties.
Guogeli Avenue
Guogeli Avenuewas built in early 18th Century is Harbin's second largest shopping street. Located in Nangang district, the area is dotted with Russian buildings and shopping complexes with Nicolas Cathedral as the center. Numerous night markets also operate on the street.
