Day 1 Arrival in Zhangjiajie

On arrival at the airport, be greeted by your driver to transfer to hotel. Have a relaxing rest!

Day 2 Zhangjiajie

Tianzi Mountains, Hallelujah Mountains, No.1 Bridge under Heaven

After breakfast, your private tour guide and driver will pick you up to Zhangjiajie Forest Park around 8:00 am, take the cable car to Tianzi Mountains, you’ll surprise at the grand and precipitous peaks reaching to the sky. There are four wonders: Sea of Clouds, Radiance of the Moonlight, Sunshine and the Snow-covered Peaks in Winter. It is a geological museum that illustrates how fantastic the earth can be.

Then go to Yuanjiajie which is famous for Hallelujah Mountains-the prototype of blockbuster Avatar and No.1 Bridge under Heaven, a natural slate connecting two high pecks, it’s rare to see in the world. Then take the world’s highest glass Bailong Elevator down. At last, you’ll be transferred back to the hotel to rest.

Yellow Dragon Cave, Baofeng Lake

Your personal tour guide will meet you around 8:00 am then go to Yellow Dragon Cave, a typical karst cave. Filled with stalagmite, stalactite, subsurface streams and waterfalls illuminating with colorful lights, it has the praise underneath labyrinth and looks stunning.

After lunch, go to Baofeng Lake, a very beautiful and tranquil lake, you’ll definitely marvel at flying waterfall surrounded with verdant trees and grotesque peaks. Besides, we’ll take a boat to calmly experience the inner beauty of the lake.

Day 4 Departure from Zhangjiajie

Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon, Tianmen Mountains, Transfer to Airport & See you off

At breakfast in the hotel, you’ll be transferred to Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon, where a glass bottom bridge was built over a deep gorge, you might feel a little bit excited to walk on the transparent bridge as marveling at the grand and breathtaking scenery. You’ll see clean water running through the gorge surrounded by verdant forest and steep peaks, and wonder how nature created this wonderful land on earth.

After lunch, then drive to Tianmen Mountains which have the longest cable car in the world and marvel at the 99 turns road and precipitous stone peaks along the way. Visit Tianmen Cave, a natural cave through the mountain and the only path to the summit, it looks like a path to heaven when clouds surround. You’ll walk on the transparent glass path which built around the top of a steep peak, around 1400 meters high, 1600 meters long, it’s more thrilling to see endless forest under your feet and flying waterfalls. Afterward, visit Tianmen Temple. Then you’ll transfer to the airport. Have a nice journey!

Yes everything was spectacular and fascinating very professional and prompt services. There were beautiful places to explore and to see in the 4 hours that we had. The comfort and beauty of the China was incredible, The history, culture and way of life of the local people we bumped into during the layover was beyond our expectations. Hiking on the Great wall after driving through a small remote countryside was very relaxing and rejuvenating. It was the best trip ever to experience on a few hours.

We had not previously used a travel agency for touring. The crew including the driver and tour guide were really funny, friendly and knowledgeable. Despite having limited time we still had free time allowing for shopping and grabbing a meal and drinks. Highly recommend this layover in Beijing.

Well worth it! Jenny was really nice and incredibly helpful with the immigration process after airport personnel originally escorted to the wrong area and didn’t want to allow leaving the airport. She takes great photos! Beautiful views and fun to take the toboggan down. Wasn’t too crowded on this day - and definitely worth doing with a 7 hour layover. Nice car and driver too.

He speaks good English and very patient. He knows his stuff. I visited West Lake , Buddhist temple and the Pagoda.
