Double Dragon Bridge owns a popular name as 17 arches bridge. It is a huge 17 arches bridge made by stone with three towers. It is situated 5 miles to the west of the city. It spans over Lujiang and Tachonghe. It is one important historical relic in Yunnan and listed in the bridge making history records. There were three arches built in year Qianlong in Qing Dynasty and another fourteen arches built in year Daoguang in Qing Dynasty. They were connected and altogether was called seventeen arches bridge. There are three towers built on the bridge with two smaller on the each end and another big one in the middle. The bridge is made by huge stone, 148.26meter in length, 3 meter in wide, looks as a big ship in far distance. But,it looks like a rainbow spanning over the river. Double-Dragon Bridge was made exquisitely and is one of the best-preserved ancient bridge in China.
　　The Double Dragon Bridge zigzags as two dragons, therefore it was named Double Dragon Bridge.The bridge was made up of ten of thousands of bluestones. From the towers of the bridge, tens of thousands of acres of farmland can be viewed while the wild southern landscape rises and falls.

　　The Double Dragon Bridge to this day is still hailed as a masterpiece of traditional Chinese bridge-making and incorporates all the classic components of an ancient Chinese bridge construction. It is evidence of the technological development in ancient China and the fact that it still stands today is a testament to its durability. In 1965 it was listed as one of the existing large-scale ancient stone bridges in China and today it is under the protection of the Yunnan Provincial Heritage Trust.
