Day 1 Arrival in Xian

Big Wild Goose Pagoda, City Wall, Bell Tower and Drum Tower, Muslim Street

The tour guide will meet you at the airport then take you directly to visit the landmark of Xi'an- Big Wild Goose Pagoda with an active Buddhist temple where you'll get an insight about the influence of China's Buddhism and culture as you see monks chanting. Afterward visit the Xian City Wall which is not only best-preserved city wall that has survived in China, but also one of the largest ancient military systems of defense in the world. then we will proceed to visit the Bell Tower and Drum Tower and take a stroll on the fantastic Muslim Street to feast our senses on the shops and restaurants operated by Muslims. The stalls line the narrow alleys selling almost everything you can expect.

After the tour, you'll be dropped off at a local hotel.

The driver and tour guide will pick you up from the hotel then take you to see the Terracotta Warriors; a part of the Emperor Qin Shihuang's Tomb and get the chance to see a large collection of life-size terracotta soldiers and horses with different facial expressions and postures as well as ancient weaponry and chariots made 2,000 years ago arranged in battle formation. Listen to the guide giving you a very detailed introduction on the world wonder and accompany you to visit the three pits in the museum and the selected collections at the affiliated exhibition hall.

In the afternoon, visit the old Tang imperial garden-Huaqing Hot Spring and learn why many emperors were so interested to build palaces at this particular setting.

Day 3 Xian-Huashan Mountain-Xian by Private Vehicle

Huashan Mountain

Drive 2 hours to Huashan Mountain where you take the cable car up the North Peak with a height of 1614 meters or you could also enjoy the opportunity of trekking up while taking in breathtaking views. Besides, you are able to venture to the East Peak, Middle Peak, West Peak and South Peak. You'll have a wonderful sightseeing opportunity for temples, pines, sculptures and engravings amidst clouds en route. After that, you will get back to the North Peak and take cable car go down the mountain. Then you will be transferred back to the hotel.

The show presented today is a recreation of a traditional entertainment attributable to a great variety of historical records and relics. The Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show has now become a classic entertainment that has been warmly appreciated by audiences running into hundreds of thousands for more than twenty years. The production has toured many cities in China as well as numerous foreign countries such as Japan, Russia, Korea, Singapore, Norway, Denmark, etc.

Yes everything was spectacular and fascinating very professional and prompt services. There were beautiful places to explore and to see in the 4 hours that we had. The comfort and beauty of the China was incredible, The history, culture and way of life of the local people we bumped into during the layover was beyond our expectations. Hiking on the Great wall after driving through a small remote countryside was very relaxing and rejuvenating. It was the best trip ever to experience on a few hours.

We had not previously used a travel agency for touring. The crew including the driver and tour guide were really funny, friendly and knowledgeable. Despite having limited time we still had free time allowing for shopping and grabbing a meal and drinks. Highly recommend this layover in Beijing.

Well worth it! Jenny was really nice and incredibly helpful with the immigration process after airport personnel originally escorted to the wrong area and didn’t want to allow leaving the airport. She takes great photos! Beautiful views and fun to take the toboggan down. Wasn’t too crowded on this day - and definitely worth doing with a 7 hour layover. Nice car and driver too.
