Your friendly tour guide and driver will greet you at the Tianjin Cruise Port Terminal. Then head to Beijing by private vehicle and enjoy a delicious Chinese lunch at a local restaurant. Then move to Tiananmen Square, the biggest city plaza in the world. Learn the revolution period history of China. Admire The Great Hall of the People from the square, National Museum, Monument of the People's Heroes and Tiananmen Gate. You will be guided to walk along the central axis of the Forbidden City, which is the largest and best-preserved palatial complex of the imperial era. Later, enjoy delicious lunch then the tour guide will introduce traditional Chinese architecture of the Temple of Heaven, such as number nine represents the emperor; colored glazes signify heaven and earth; and pillars represent the months, seasons and time. Your last stop of this tour is Summer Palace. This preserved imperial garden was built in 1750 by Emperor Qianlong and has since been combined with amazing artificial features like temples, pavilions, bridges and halls. A boat cruise on the Kunming Lake is highly recommended for enjoying this picturesque royal garden. (The boat cruise is not available in winter.)
