Day 1 Chengdu-Daocheng County by Flight

Haizi Mountain, Sangdui Town, Daocheng White Pagoda

Your private driver will pick you up at your Chengdu hotel lobby then go to the airport. Upon arrival in Daocheng Yading airport, your local tour guide and driver will pick you up at the airport. You will enjoy the dotted ice lake and sea with scattered stone at Haizi Mountain. Then head to the hotel, on the way pay a short visit to Sangdui Town, see a field of red grass in autumn if lucky. Heading to Daocheng White Pagoda, have a leisurely walk around here and enjoy sacred 108 white pagodas, the wind blowing the prayer flags and Tibetan people surround around the pagoda clockwise and pray sincerely every day. Check in the hotel and adapt to high altitude.

Day 2 Daocheng County

Get up early and go to the visitors center, take the sightseeing bus to Zhaguanbeng, pay a short visit to Chonggu Temple, opposite of three main snow mountain, which is the best place to take beautiful pictures. After enjoying lunch prepared by yourself, hike to the beautiful Pearl Sea and enjoy sacred Xiannairi Mountain, after descending down to the foot then be transferred to the hotel by sightseeing bus.

After breakfast, take the sightseeing bus to Zhaguanbeng then transfer by battery car to Luorong Cattle Farm, enjoy a harmonious scenery of wildflowers, green grassland, running river across the farm. After taking some good photos, hike to Milk Lake and Five Color Lake(around 6 hours hiking for roundtrip), or you have the option to take the ride on horse to enjoy three sacred snow-capped mountains along the way. At last, return to the hotel.

Yes everything was spectacular and fascinating very professional and prompt services. There were beautiful places to explore and to see in the 4 hours that we had. The comfort and beauty of the China was incredible, The history, culture and way of life of the local people we bumped into during the layover was beyond our expectations. Hiking on the Great wall after driving through a small remote countryside was very relaxing and rejuvenating. It was the best trip ever to experience on a few hours.

We had not previously used a travel agency for touring. The crew including the driver and tour guide were really funny, friendly and knowledgeable. Despite having limited time we still had free time allowing for shopping and grabbing a meal and drinks. Highly recommend this layover in Beijing.

Well worth it! Jenny was really nice and incredibly helpful with the immigration process after airport personnel originally escorted to the wrong area and didn’t want to allow leaving the airport. She takes great photos! Beautiful views and fun to take the toboggan down. Wasn’t too crowded on this day - and definitely worth doing with a 7 hour layover. Nice car and driver too.

He speaks good English and very patient. He knows his stuff. I visited West Lake , Buddhist temple and the Pagoda. 2. When you arrive at the departure city, the exactly pick up time will inform by your tour guide though your hotel one night before your tour date.

3.Pick-up Service: To ensure the morning pick-up going smoothly as scheduled, we suggest you choose downtown hotels within the fourth ring road of the city. An additional transfer fee will be incurred if your hotel is outside the above mentioned area. If your hotel is located in a narrow lane or an apartment block, we suggest you find the nearest hotel on the main street as your pick-up point.

If you cancel at least 7 day(s) in advance of the scheduled departure, there is no cancellation fee.
