Be picked up at hotel lobby then head to Sun Yet-sen Mausoleum, learn about the great pioneer in modern and contemporary Chinese history, transfer to Presidential Palace of Nanjing, go further depth insight of the father of China-Sun Yet-sen when visiting the various offices and residences. This building witnessed the change of hand among Manchurian, different Chinese political parties and Japanese during their occupation. The first spot today is Memorial Hall of the Victims in Nanjing Massacre by Japanese Invaders, view the history documents, photos, videos to learn the dark history in World War Two that cruel Japanese soldiers killed more than 300,000 innocent Chinese people. Transfer to Zhonghua Gate and amaze at the structure and layout of the wall which makes the enemies will think twice before planning an attack. After killing the duck, all things should be moved out from the hole under the right wing. After washing the dark clean, vegs and pepper should be put inside the body of duck. The duck is filled with onion too for getting rid of bad smell. The BBQ fork is inserted from the crotch of the duck leg, through the sternum, to shoulder neck skin, and then wear a 3.5 cm puncture, turn the duck head from left to right, puncture under the eyes, and lock the BBQ fork.The water is boiled, then put the duck head into the water and pour the hot water into dark body, the duck skin was made as tight with pores. Then cover sugar syrup on the whole drak and dried the duck in the air. When roasting, roast the two sides at first, then leg, back, tail and chest. When the duck gave off sounds and look oily, give off oil, continue to roast until the duck turns golden red. When the duck is served, added together with thin pancakes, sweet sauce and onion.　　At begining of Ming dynasty, residence in Nanjing all like to eat salted pressed ducks including the emperor. Yes everything was spectacular and fascinating very professional and prompt services. There were beautiful places to explore and to see in the 4 hours that we had. The comfort and beauty of the China was incredible, The history, culture and way of life of the local people we bumped into during the layover was beyond our expectations. Hiking on the Great wall after driving through a small remote countryside was very relaxing and rejuvenating. It was the best trip ever to experience on a few hours.

We had not previously used a travel agency for touring. The crew including the driver and tour guide were really funny, friendly and knowledgeable. Despite having limited time we still had free time allowing for shopping and grabbing a meal and drinks. Highly recommend this layover in Beijing.

Well worth it! Jenny was really nice and incredibly helpful with the immigration process after airport personnel originally escorted to the wrong area and didn’t want to allow leaving the airport. She takes great photos! Beautiful views and fun to take the toboggan down. Wasn’t too crowded on this day - and definitely worth doing with a 7 hour layover. Nice car and driver too.
