Casino Lisboa is a three story round building owned by a casino tycoon by the name He Hongshen. It is located on the Avenida Doutor Mario Soares which is the South Bay District. The Casino was first opened in 1970 and ever since then it continues to take the center stage in Macau’s gambling business contributing immensely in its economy.
The Casino was designed to look like a lotus leaf with the main building of the casino seen from far looking like a giant boat but from a close glimpse it looks like a bird cage. The Casino’s main gate looks like the mouth of a tiger which looks so scary influencing gamblers yo use the side left door. On the ceiling at the lobby of the has a unique painting of a Portuguese style boat almost succumbing to a strong storm.
