Your English tour guide and driver will pick up from the hotel at about 08:00--09:00 followed by an exciting execution at the Chen Clan Academy which served as both a region for ancestor worship as well as a temporary residence for the Chen descendants. Then next move to the elliptic sandbar at Shamian Island and take a long stroll on peaceful tree lined streets soaking up the atmosphere and admiring the extravagant Victorian houses magnificent gardens. Afterwards head to Lychee Bay before stopping for a lip smacking authentic lunch. In the afternoon kick start at the Five Rams Statue to learn more about its legends and and then visit Guangzhou Museum(closed on Mondays and replaced with Dr Sun Yat-sen memorial hall) before shutting down the tour of the day at the tranquil Temple of the Six Banyan Trees with a rich collection of relics and home to three of the largest Buddhist statues made of copper in Guangdong province. Finally leisurely drive back to the hotel for drop off marking the end of the tour.
