Day 1 Chengdu-Aba Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture by Private Vehicle

Your tour guide and driver will pick you up at Chengdu hotel in the early morning, then drive about 9.5 hours to Jiuzhaigou. Along the way, enjoy beautiful farmland, numerous counties, pass the 2008 earthquake ruin of Wenchuan and charming Songpan. Upon arrival, check in a local hotel and adapt yourself to the altitude.

Day 2 Aba Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture

The driver and tour guide will pick you up from the hotel in the morning. Today, you'll visit Jiuzhaigou National Park. It is well-known not only as a national park but also a UNESCO World Heritage since 1992. Take the sightseeing bus and enjoy charming lakes, bewitched springs, thundering groups of waterfalls, rapids and tufa shoals within the reserve. Under the reflection of sunshine, the crystal clear water shows traveler colorful view and brings you to a wonderful world. When walking in verdant forest and you will experience tranquility and grandeur.

Day 3 Aba Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture

Huanglong

Your private driver will pick you up from the hotel in the early morning and begin your wonderful tour at Huanglong Scenic Area which famous for its colorful lakes, snow-capped mountains, beautiful valleys and virgin forests. The area, declared a World Heritage Site in 1992 by UNESCO, has been called a "World Wonder" and "Fairy Land on Earth". Take the cable car up to the top and enjoy the beautiful views from the top, the Five Color Pond boasts different colors, sizes, shapes, attracting millions of travelers even photographers every year. No wonder that it’s the highlight of Huanglong. Descend down slowly by walking to truly keep the beauty in your mind and camera. After the tour in Huanglong Scenic Area, you are taken to reside in the hotel.

Day 4 Aba Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture-Chengdu by Private Vehicle

After breakfast, drive around 8-9 hours to Chengdu. Enjoy beautiful views on the bus along the way. Upon arrival, you’ll be sent to the hotel in Chengdu.

Important Notes for Jiuzhaigou:

1. The opening area includes Zaru Temple of Zaru Valley, Zechawa Valley and Shuzhen Valley(except Sparkling Lake), Rize Valley(from Nuorilang to Five Flower Lake).

2. Jiuzhaigou is open for a limited period from 8:30 to 17:00 every day.

3. Maximum 8000 travelers are allowed to enter Jiuzhaigou every day.

4. No individual traveler is accepted. Please book the Jiuzhaigou tour organized by the travel agency in advance before traveling.

5. The entrance tickets can only be booked on the official site with a real identity.

Yes everything was spectacular and fascinating very professional and prompt services. There were beautiful places to explore and to see in the 4 hours that we had. The comfort and beauty of the China was incredible, The history, culture and way of life of the local people we bumped into during the layover was beyond our expectations. Hiking on the Great wall after driving through a small remote countryside was very relaxing and rejuvenating. It was the best trip ever to experience on a few hours.

We had not previously used a travel agency for touring. The crew including the driver and tour guide were really funny, friendly and knowledgeable. Despite having limited time we still had free time allowing for shopping and grabbing a meal and drinks. Highly recommend this layover in Beijing.

Well worth it! Jenny was really nice and incredibly helpful with the immigration process after airport personnel originally escorted to the wrong area and didn’t want to allow leaving the airport. She takes great photos! Beautiful views and fun to take the toboggan down. Wasn’t too crowded on this day - and definitely worth doing with a 7 hour layover. Nice car and driver too.

He speaks good English and very patient. He knows his stuff. I visited West Lake , Buddhist temple and the Pagoda.
