Day 1 Beijing-Tianjin By Bullet Train
Porcelain House, Five-Avenue Area, Tianjin Eye, Ancient Cultural Street
Driver and guide pick you up from the railway station in Tianjin. Commence the tour from the most eye-catching building at the Porcelain House, European style building, renovated to be a unique private porcelain museum covered completely with porcelain pieces.
Then next, proceed to visit the Five-Avenue Area, the former concessions in Tianjin City. Take a stroll in this area full of Western-style buildings and feel the old district come back to life. Take a break and chow down a Chinese style lunch before moving to the Ferris Wheel, commonly known as the Tianjin Eye to overlook the city.
At last, visit the Ancient Cultural Street which consists of small booths or shops modeled after the small folk shops from the Qing Dynasty. See about 100 shops here all with Qing-styled architecture and be sure to take colorful pictures before ending your tour. The tour ends from sending you to the railway station for returning Beijing.
